I will forever be thankful that a kind nurse's Google search brought her to my blog and brought Lattimore Brown from terminal obscurity (he had been rumored to have died over twenty years ago!) and to get him international exposure. Although greater kudos belong to Red Kelly, who worked wonders in finding Lattimore, recording his story and getting him back on stage after a three-decade hiatus. (If you have not already, please visit sirlattimorebrown.com to read the full story.) But I'm glad to have been a small catalyst in such a great thing. Lattimore died on March 25, 2011, after being struck by a car near his home in Pensacola, Florida. This podcast is a tribute to him and is intended to be a complement to the excellent Red Kelly podcast featuring Lattimore and several other Sound Stage Seven artists.
